As part of a potential remake, a new video recreates one of the final scenes from Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas in Unreal Engine 5.
TeaserPlay, a YouTube channel, has released another movie envisioning a hypothetical Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas Unreal Engine 5 remake. TeaserPlay has made a number of movies replicating Grand Theft Auto games in Unreal Engine 5, the most recent of which is San Andreas. It's about a certain scene in San Andreas that occurs near the end of the novel.
CJ faces former friend Big Smoke near the end of Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas' plot. Big Smoke dies as a result of the confrontation, with CJ and Smoke having a final talk before Smoke succumbs to his injuries. It's one of the most memorable scenes in San Andreas, therefore it's only natural that it was chosen as an illustration of what a potential San Andreas remake may look like if reproduced in Unreal Engine 5.
TeaserPlay has released a video in the past depicting what a potential San Andreas Unreal Engine 5 remake could look like. It previously released a GTA San Andreas remake video centered on Big Smoke's fast-food order. Both sequences represent two of Big Smoke's most memorable moments in Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas, and it will be fascinating to see if future films from the channel focus on some of the game's other characters.
TeaserPlay has released other Grand Theft Auto videos that have nothing to do with San Andreas. Some of the films focus on recreating other games in the franchise, such as one that demonstrated what a Grand Theft Auto 4 Unreal Engine 5 remake may look like.
Other TeaserPlay GTA videos, on the other hand, seek to illustrate what the eventual Grand Theft Auto 6 could be like, pulling inspiration from leaks about the game. The videos frequently show Grand Theft Auto 6 taking place in Vice City, which is said to be the main city for the upcoming game, though this has yet to be confirmed by Rockstar as of this writing.
While a GTA San Andreas Unreal Engine 5 remake is unlikely to happen, Grand Theft Auto fans can play a recreated version of the game if they so wish. Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas is one of the games featured in Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy - The Definitive Edition, which was released last year to widespread acclaim. Although updates have tried to bring San Andreas and the other games in the collection more in line with Rockstar's expectations, many remain unhappy.
