PS5, Xbox Series S/X, and Windows PC versions are scheduled to be released in March 2023.
Midnight Suns by Marvel has been postponed again. Firaxis Games stated on Twitter that their forthcoming tactical role-playing game has been pushed back until next year. The game will now be released in stages, with the PC, PS5, and Xbox Series S/X versions arriving in early 2023, followed by the last-gen PS4 and Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch editions arriving later. The title was supposed to be released in March 2022, but it was pushed back to October and now faces another setback.
The statement opens with Firaxis Games pledging a new, ambiguous release date for Marvel's Midnight Suns in order to provide "the finest possible experience for our fans." According to Take-quarterly Two's earnings report, the top-down, turn-based RPG will now be released "later this fiscal year," which translates to March 2023. The game was supposed to be released on all major platforms on October 7th, however plans have since changed. The developer argues that it will take additional effort to create a smooth experience across all platforms, which would necessitate some internal polishing.

"Marvel's Midnight Suns is easily the biggest game we've ever produced, and we're immensely grateful for all the support gamers have shown us over the years," the statement continues. While no firm release date has been set, Firaxis Games has promised updates in the near future. As unpleasant as it may sound for fans, notorious instances such as Cyberpunk 2077's terrible launch, riddled with game-breaking flaws, demonstrate how critical delays and defect ironing out can be for any game. A more recent example would be the GTA Trilogy remastered launch, in which Rockstar Games was compelled to remove the product from PC until all problems were resolved.
Midnight Suns, from the developers of XCOM, debuted its gameplay in September 2021, with a card-based battling mechanic akin to Slay the Spire. This RPG, set in the darker, supernatural sector of the Marvel universe, will cast players in the role of "The Hunter," an original customizable superhero created just for this game. As Lilith, Mother of Demons gathers Hydra's troops, you are tasked with leading a team of iconic characters like The Avengers, X-Men, and Runaways to put a stop to evil. With over 40 different powers to choose from, gamers will never run out of new things to try.
Marvel's Midnight Suns will be released in March 2023 on the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series S/X, and Windows PC. The PS4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch versions have no specific release date, so expect an indefinite wait for the time being.
