Apex Legends Season 14 is quickly approaching, and to celebrate, EA and Respawn have published a new teaser. The new Apex Legends season, dubbed 'Hunted,' will add Vantage, a sniper with a jetpack and a terrible background. The battle royale game is now celebrating a Gaiden event, which will conclude in August and pave the way for the new season. Respawn Entertainment has also announced gameplay reveal trailer for Vantage's kit and mechanics on August 1.
Respawn Entertainment, in keeping with tradition, created an animated cinematic short about the new Apex Legends hero. Vantage is shown in the Apex Legends Season 14 teaser with Horizon and Fuze, straining to keep up with her elders. The clip alternates between the brawl and her mother's talk in hail. "What's the Syndicate up to?" Allowing a puppy to participate in the Games," Fuze remarks, referring to Vantage's ineptitude and amateur practices.
The Apex Legends Season 14 teaser does not clarify the cause for her mother's confinement, but Vantage can be seen preparing an escort operation to assassinate the guards with a little blade. Her mother declines the offer and requests that security takes her away, during which she witnesses a broadcast of an Apex Legends match and is motivated to participate in them. We can see traces of her skills during the Apex Games in the current day.
As previously revealed, Vantage is armed with a sniper rifle that, when scoped in, places a tracker around foes for consistent targeting in Apex Legends. Another feature to mention is her jetpack, which allows her to reach great altitudes. The gameplay is identical to those of Deadshot in Rocksteady's forthcoming Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League game. Vantage also has a white pet bat named Echo that bursts out of her sleeve to strike oncoming adversaries – just enough to distract them.
While the specifics are yet unknown, this Apex Legends Season 14 clip corresponds to leaks from earlier this year. Apex Legends fans discovered the studio's content plans for the next two years in a Reddit post. The data revealed nine additional heroes, a map with an unspecified train system, and weaponry.
Players can expect a reforged King's Canyon with fresh small map adjustments and a robust leveling system with the Season 14 release. Along with previous Star Wars projects in partnership with Electronic Arts and Lucasfilm Games, Respawn Entertainment is working on a sequel to Star Wars Jedi: The Fallen Order.
