Activision's next Call of Duty: Warzone 2 is set to release in the coming months. The release date has been disclosed on Reddit ahead of its official announcement.
This year, Activision Blizzard has two Call of Duty projects in the works. Warzone 2 and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2. Both games are set to be released in the coming months. Interestingly, the Warzone 2 release date has been leaked, while further details about Modern Warfare 2 have been officially published.
Call of Duty: Warzone 2 release date, Modern Warfare 2 pre-order perks
Call of Duty: Warzone 2 will be released on November 16, according to a document discovered on Reddit. Furthermore, a fresh piece of information reveals that pre-ordering Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, which is planned to be released on October 28, will offer early access to the game's campaign. Those who pre-order will get access to the campaign a week before it launches, most likely on October 20.
This is reported to be the first time a campaign has been released under early access, as usually, only the multiplayer option is available. In terms of the campaign, the game will allow you to command Task Force 141, a special forces outfit. This campaign will feature missions set in Asia, Europe, and America.
Users will have access to the multiplayer beta of the game in September, in addition to early access to the campaign. Some special weapon skins will also be available.
In India, the ordinary edition of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 costs Rs 4,999, while the Vault Edition costs Rs 6,699 rupees. The game is currently available for pre-order on all platforms. The game will be released for the Sony PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, and PC (via Steam).
Aside from Call of Duty, the World of Warcraft Classic: Wrath of the Lich King expansion's release date has been reconfirmed by documents leaked on Reddit. The global release date for WoW Classic: WotLK is slated for September 26.
While the documentation and release dates of these games appear to be real, keep in mind that we are dealing with a leak and one that occurred on Reddit. However, until Activision confirms the dates, they should be treated with caution.
